Two checking modes, kept properly separate
Audio & Video and Images & Posts now keep their own providers, prompts, verdicts, activity, and routing. Image checks never inherit transcription settings, while spoken-media checks continue through transcription, claim extraction, evidence retrieval, and evaluation in order.
Choose how every stage works
FactLens Pro members can choose one or more compatible credentials for each stage from either the extension or Console. Use a provider until it fails, or rotate after a request count you choose. API keys remain on the device where they were entered.
The Workspace has clearer input and output points, simpler lanes, a centered stage layout, smoother zooming, and live status so you can follow a request without deciphering a technical diagram.
Prompts and verdicts that stay in agreement
Customize individual request stages for either checking mode. When “Use my prompt only” is selected, the rendered instruction you provide is the one FactLens uses for that stage.
Verdict names, colors, availability, and plain-language rules now come from one catalog. Changing or creating a verdict updates both the instruction used during evaluation and the result shown by FactLens.
Faster controls without interrupted work
Provider, prompt, verdict, appearance, source-preference, and history changes apply on the device first, then synchronize after a brief pause. This keeps controls responsive and prevents overlapping saves from undoing recent edits.
Each session starts with one consistent settings snapshot, so FactLens does not pause between stages to download the same configuration again.
Better history, activity, and reports
Activity now explains transcription, AI, Search, timing, route, and errors in plain language.
Image results can be saved as complete, high-resolution result cards in WebP, PNG, or JPEG.
Speaker profiles can be renamed, merged, permanently deleted, summarized, and downloaded as complete HTML reports.
History and activity stay manageable with ten items at a time and clear ways to continue.
Successes, warnings, and failures use distinct notifications with useful destinations.
A smoother account experience
Signed-in Trial and Pro sessions keep eligible history and preferences available across FactLens, while private API keys remain local. The extension now starts from cached account data and refreshes quietly, avoiding the signed-out flash that could appear while a profile loaded.
Qualified referrals are tracked from invitation through the first completed check. Trial members can claim an additional week of FactLens Pro after three qualified referrals.
